21世纪的到来意味着很多。它是科技的繁荣，新媒体的兴旺，也是人们生活的新起点。作为较先出生于21世纪的一代，我常常思考，将来有什么在等待着我们，是否现代化会像我们预期那样将生活变得更加美好。
The arrival of the 21st century means a lot. It is the flourishing of technology, the blossom of new media and the new starting point for people's lives. As the generation born in the 21st century, I often think about what is waiting for us in the future and whether modernization have made our life better as we expected.

有一句话叫：无规矩不成方圆。而又有一句话叫：规矩是死的，人是活的。世界有着人造出来的规则与条例，也有在日积月累下，在社会以及潜意识中透露出来的思考定律。
There is an old Chinese saying: nothing can be accomplished without rules. But, there is also another saying called: rules are rigid, but people are flexible. There are man-made rules and regulations in the world, and there are laws of thinking that are revealed in the society subconsciously over time.

人十分擅长划分界限，常常将不同的人划分为“你”、“我”、“他”，将平面分割成为有限的范围，将知识归纳成为一个个学科…这些有形无形的概念都被人们设立的“界限”所划分，被分割成为一个个个体。在我的系列作品中我尝试探索生活中存在的“界”，并在作品中讨论界限存在的形式。
Human is good at setting boundaries, often dividing different people into "you"， "me", and "he"; dividing planes into limited scopes; separate knowledge into disciplines... These concrete and abstract concepts are all divided by the "boundary". In my exhibition works, I try to explore how the "boundary" exists in our life and discuss the forms it exists.

An invisible thread connects the past of life, records the present, and creates the future. They exist in a variety of forms. Capturing instances, exploring the relationship between material, technic, and concept. Combine my personal experience and memory；finding the ideology of life.

你是你。我是我。就像生物里的细胞，社会是由无数个个人组织的，而每个独立的人又是由很多元素，比如价值观、信念、兴趣爱好、经验所塑造。个人的身份认同和认知是独一无二的，但是我们同时也都属于不同的社会组织以及群体。我希望可以通过我的作品来探讨 ”我“、”我们“和”他们“ 的概念，更加了解自己的身份和他人的关系。
Microscopic cells form organisms. Communities are made up of individuals. Drawing parallel between biology and social sciences, my art aims to explore the concept of self-identity. How individuals identify themselves and conform to different social group, but more importantly, what elements contribute to the recognition and assimilation of individuals. My exploration will be focused on the different social and personal identities within my friends and manifesting my own struggle in finding my identity.

什么是DP Visual Art？
视觉艺术是IBDP艺术课程之一，在广东碧桂园学校开设已久。在这里，除了可以学习最基本的艺术技法以外，最大的特点是学生拥有独家的“创作自由”。
视觉艺术不单单只是画画！！在这个课程里，我们可以尽情地发挥我们的想象，利用任何形式、任何技法、任何材料去表达我们内心的天马行空，表达对社会的见解等等。
除了色粉、水彩、素描等普通高中艺术课程常见的技法外，我们还可以进行摄影、制作微电影、定格动画、mixed media的装置艺术、石膏雕塑（没错，全班往脸上抹石膏，各自拎着自己的“脑壳”的场面你们是没见过了）等等等等。只有你想不到的，没有你做不到的……

对VA的感想
在极其有限的资源下，做作品的前提是要保护好自己，不要吸食太多的化学用品如喷漆、塑料，特别是谨防化学用品入眼。
DP Visual Art是一个很好玩也很虐的学科。你会时常因为找inspiration做作品感觉到起落落落起起落起起。当然，最大的感受就是，你不是在买材料就是在等材料的路上：）。但不得不说，对于爱艺术的同学们，这是一个非常值得的课程。出来之后你就能get到N项捣腾技能！！
DP Visual Art 可以从多方面锻炼一个学生。比如思考能力，动手和写作能力等。但是，我个人比较难以平衡分配给艺术和学习的时间，这门学科需要付出很多精力，并且要挑战使用多种媒介去进行创作。一定要做好准备再选呀！
学习视艺是一个很神奇的过程。这是唯一一个一直在动手，一直在尝试不同媒介的学科。我感觉在视艺做的各种实验加起来，比我在整个高中科学这类学科做的都要多。这个过程让我们不断的在试错和创新中找到一个合适的表达方式。但是在学习视艺的时候做好时间管理和积累真的很重要。没有东西是会突然蹦出来的，都是一步步地做和改进过来的。
